Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to medium repairs on a mobile/field basis. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, manage parts inventory, and document findings using company tools.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience, ASE certifications, and a valid DOT medical card or be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience or 5 years’ related experience.
• ASE certification T6 and T8 within specified timelines.
• DOT medical card with >4 months remaining or DOT physical if <=4 months validity.
• Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems in diesel vehicles.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck and process RO documentation.
