Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs on on-site/mobile fleets. You will diagnose, test, and repair electrical, braking, and engine systems, maintaining documentation via TRAIT on an iOS device.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and valid DOT/driver qualifications. Weekly pay and company-provided gear are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience.
• Own a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
