Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and repair electrical, braking, and engine systems while managing a company vehicle and parts inventory.

Qualified candidates have HS diploma or GED and ASE T8 certification within 18 months; 21+ to drive interstate, DOT requirements apply. Weekly pay and robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in related field, or 5 years' experience in related field.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulations and DOT medical/physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose, repair, and test components including electrical, braking and engine systems.
• Maintain service truck and inventory; document RO notes with photos.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals and update repair estimates.
