Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Tech II to perform scheduled PMs, inspections, and repairs on a range of trucks in a mobile/field setting. The role requires DOT/compliance awareness and strong diagnostic ability.

You will work with a company-issued truck, tools, and the TRAIT app to document work and manage parts. The position offers a flexible remote option (must live in the specified area) and includes a new hire bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification to be obtained within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, brake, cooling, engine, transmission and other truck systems.
• Record work performed and parts used in the Repair Orders using company mobile app.
• Coordinate parts and schedule with customers and management to ensure timely service.
