Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a field setting. You’ll drive a service truck, work independently, and coordinate with the team to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years’ related experience (or 5 years in related field).
• Obtain ASE PMI (PMI) within 18 months of hire.
• Candidate must meet DOT/FMCSA regulations and possess valid CDL/driver credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile PMs, diagnostics, and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems in field conditions.
• Manage parts inventory and document work via company app and RO system.
