Zusammenfassung

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of trucks and vehicles in field settings. You will perform DOT inspections, PMs, and complex repairs while documenting all work using the TRAIT app and company tools.

You will travel nationwide, operate a company service truck, and report to the Fleet operation team. The role emphasizes safety, independence, and continuous skill advancement with generous benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience, or 5 years' related experience without a HS diploma.
• Must possess and supply hand tools necessary to perform duties.
• Obtain ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and DOT medical clearance may be required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license and ability to operate interstate.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair and test electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and drive train systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnoses; document findings on RO via TRAIT app.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies; coordinate approvals and purchase orders.
• Ensure safety standards and DOT/OSHA compliance; maintain company vehicle and tools.
