Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to mid-level repairs in a mobile/field environment. The role requires maintaining tools, documenting RO details via TRAIT on an iOS device, and meeting safety standards across DOT regulations.

The position offers growth in advanced diagnostics under supervision and a focus on high productivity with strict adherence to company policies and performance metrics.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related field experience (or 5 years' related field experience).
• Must possess and supply hand tools necessary for job duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• DOT medical card valid >4 months may substitute for DOT physical.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling systems and drive components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, engine, transmission and hydraulic systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Document work and parts used on Repair Orders using company iOS devices and TRAIT app.
