Job summary

Cox Fleet is a leading mobile and on-site fleet maintenance provider, offering nationwide service centers and 24/7 support. The field technician will perform PMs, inspections, and repairs across light to heavy-duty vehicles, using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience.
• At least 3 years' experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools provided to perform duties.
• DOT/FMCSA background screening and DOT medical card required.
• Valid driver’s license and 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling and related systems.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and company-issued service truck; maintain vehicle safety checks.
• Document findings on Repair Orders using iOS device and TRAIT app; obtain approvals as needed.
