Cox Fleet by Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose vehicles, service engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and manage parts on a service truck, while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years in related field, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid DOT credentials.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years related experience.
• Or 5 years related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair truck equipment including electrical, brakes, HVAC, engine, transmission and drive train.
• Inspect, test and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper operation and repair quality.
