Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to service fleets on-site nationwide. You will perform PMs, inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile setting, using hand tools and diagnostic gear.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 3 years in a related field (or 5 years), and ASE T8 certification within 18 months. DOT background and valid license are required. Compensation is hourly with annual bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; 3 years of related field experience or 5 years equivalent.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections and repairs on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck and document work with RO in TRAIT app.
