Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks in a mobile environment. The role requires hands-on skills with diesel systems and the ability to manage parts and documentation on a daily basis.

Candidates should have an HS diploma or GED, 3 years in related work (or 5 years experience), and ASE T8 certification within 18 months. A valid CDL/driver's license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field, or 5 years experience accepted.
• Must supply a set of hand tools for job duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months of hire.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid state driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and identify malfunctions.
• Manage parts inventory and use company service truck for jobs.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
