Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive business, provides mobile maintenance and fleet support across a broad range of vehicles. You’ll perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs in the field, often working independently from a company service truck.

The role emphasizes reliability, client communication, and adherence to DOT and safety standards while offering a pathway for ASE certifications and career development. Weekly pay and company-provided tools support success.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or 5 years’ related experience.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools for job duties.
• ASE certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations require successful DOT background screen and DOT physical prior to employment.

Mansioni

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment including electrical, brakes, cooling systems, steering, engines, and transmissions.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and operate company service truck and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals and work estimates.
• Document work and upload RO details via TRAIT app on an iOS device.
