Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light mechanical repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and test a range of truck equipment, manage parts on a company truck, and document findings using our TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with related discipline.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/Braking/Cooling systems and other truck components.
• Inspect and test equipment; road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain and reconcile parts inventory and service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation accurately and timely.
