Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on a mobile/field basis across diverse truck fleets. You will diagnose, repair, and document work using TRAIT app, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; 3 years in related field, or 5 years in related field.
• Must supply hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT background check and DOT physical required prior to employment.
• 21+ years old; valid driver's license; Class C license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; test with gauges and handheld devices.
• Document work and upload RO photos using TRAIT app; maintain safety standards and vehicle readiness.
