Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work under supervision, handling diagnostics and service on trucks and trailers across our nationwide operations.

This role requires adherence to DOT/OSHA/EPA standards, manual dexterity with hand and diesel tools, and strong communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years' related experience, or a 5-year related field background.
• Must possess a set of hand tools and be able to obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on trucks.
• Maintain service truck, document work on RO using company devices, and communicate with management.
