Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems and complete repair orders with accuracy.

We value safety, reliability, and strong communication with clients. This role requires driving a service truck, coordinating with the shop network, and adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related certifications/experience considered.
• Experience performing DOT inspections and light/heavy-duty diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams and service manuals.
• Excellent problem solving and communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile field settings.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Prepare and submit accurate Repair Orders with parts used and findings.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and vehicle readiness; meet productivity targets.
