Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to join our nationwide mobile service team. This role performs licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy trucks and trailers, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

You will operate a company service truck, manage parts and documentation, and work closely with customers and staff to deliver timely repairs and top-quality service in a mobile field setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT regulations experience and certifications preferred; ability to pass DOT pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, fuel, cooling, and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
