Job summary

Cox Fleet by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-mid repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, manage parts on a service truck, and document findings using our TRAIT app.

Requirements include HS diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience, plus ASE T8 certification within 18 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience (or 5 years in related field).
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory pre-employment requirements and DOT physical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Document work and upload RO photos via company TRAIT iOS app.
