Job summary

Cox Fleet by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Waco, TX. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on medium and heavy-duty vehicles, in a mobile/field setting.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, electrical and mechanical repairs, parts inventory management, and accurate documentation on RO. You will work with a team to meet safety and regulatory requirements while maintaining the service truck and adhering to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience or equivalent
• ASE certification within 18 months (T8 PMI)
• Valid DOT-regulated requirements including DOT medical/DOT background check

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling and engine systems on trucks and trailers
• Document work and parts used on RO using iOS device and TRAIT app
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company service truck
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and safety policies
