Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading mobile fleet maintenance provider, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting, using diagnostic tools and hand tools.

You will also manage parts, document work, and coordinate with customers and the support team. Requirements include HS diploma/GED, ASE certification within 18 months, and DOT regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED plus related field experience
• ASE certifications or willingness to obtain within 18 months
• DOT/FMCSA and DOT medical card requirements
• Driver's license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/field units
• Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Maintain and safely operate company service truck and tools
• Document work orders and parts used via TRAIT app and RO system
• Communicate with customers and management to authorize repairs and estimates
