Job summary

Cox Fleet By Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Waco, TX. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and related services in a mobile/field environment, supporting fleets nationwide.

The role requires OSHA/DOT compliance knowledge, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid CDL driver’s license. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience OR equivalent combination.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs for light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose, adjust and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine and drivetrain systems.
• Inspect, test and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation and safety.
