Job summary

Cox Fleet by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light-to-heavy repairs, and diagnostics in a mobile/field environment. You will work under supervision to expand your advanced mechanical skills while delivering high-quality service to fleets nationwide.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, road-testing vehicles, managing parts, and documenting RO findings with our TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in related field; or 5 years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect, test, and listen to equipment to identify malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and document repairs using company systems.
