Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience.
• Potentially 5 years in related field with different combination of degree/certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect vehicles, test and road-test to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and company vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Document work performed and submit DOT forms and repair orders.
