Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading mobile fleet maintenance provider, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform PMs, DOT inspections, and repairs in a field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, road-test repaired vehicles, and manage parts and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience or equivalent.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required.
• DOT/pre-employment background screening and DOT physical may be required.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and able to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and related truck systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify proper function after service.
• Manage parts inventory and document work using company devices and TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with management for repair estimates and procurement.
