Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, document findings, and manage parts with supervision as needed.

The role requires 3+ years in related fields or ASE certification in progress, valid CDL/DOT compliance, and the ability to work independently with strong communication skills. Comprehensive benefits and paid training offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ASE certs pursued within 18 months.
• Experience with DOT inspections and mobile fleet service preferred.
• Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and light/heavy repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, test, and document results on RO forms using company tools.
• Manage parts and coordinate with support team for approvals.
