We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs, working in a mobile/field setting with independent scheduling and safety compliance.

The role requires diagnosing electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, handling parts, and communicating with clients to meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems on trucks and related equipment.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and operate company‑issued service vehicle and conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Identify problems, determine relevance of information, and use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives.
• Manage parts inventory and document repairs on Repair Orders (RO) using TRAIT app on an iOS device.
