Job summary

Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and skilled repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose complex issues, conduct safety checks, and document findings using company tools.

The role supports a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, requires DOT compliance, and includes a benefits package with weekly pay and career progression opportunities within Cox Automotive’s nationwide service network.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 3 years in related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and pre-employment screening.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic/electrical systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck supplies.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation promptly.
