Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile field setting. You will work in a mostly remote/mobile role with 100% travel and evening hours from 4pm to 12am, in a company-focused fleet service team that serves nationwide operations.

The role emphasizes independent scheduling, tool use, and DOT/OSHA compliance, with training to advance into higher certifications and a clear career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ related experience.
• Alternative: any higher degree/certification plus 5 years’ related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, diesel, cooling, braking, engine and drivetrain systems.
• Complete RO documentation using company iOS TRAIT app and upload photos.
