Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs on a mobile basis across the fleet. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems and operate independently, with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 certification within eighteen (18) months.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test and road-test to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and company vehicle maintenance.
• Document work on RO using TRAIT app.
