Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to intermediate repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, document work, and manage RO updates using our TRAIT app.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; alternative combos accepted with related discipline experience.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months and possess DOT-related compliance readiness.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, test, and document findings; road-test vehicles to verify fixes.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Maintain safety checks and DOT compliance documentation.
