Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake and cooling systems, and operate with company-issued TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma/GED, 3–5 years in related field, and ASE T8 PMI within 18 months. CDL Class C is required and weekly pay is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience or 5 years' related field experience.
• Possess and provide a set of hand tools necessary for duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test and road-test vehicles to ensure proper operation and safety.
