Job summary

Cox Fleet By Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to medium repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. You’ll diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, road-test vehicles, and manage parts on a company service truck.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, 3–5 years in related field, ASE T8 within 18 months, and a valid DOT medical card. Weekly pay and benefits included.

• Flexibility to perform in mobile/field environment.
• ASE T8 certification required within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain service truck and equipment; manage parts inventory.
