Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to medium repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems while maintaining service trucks and inventory.

You must have a HS Diploma/GED with related experience, hold or obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months, and pass DOT background checks. This role includes safety-focused work with company-provided tools and devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience; or 5 years of related field experience.
• Possess and provide a set of hand tools required for job duties.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background check and DOT physical.
• DOT medical card acceptable in lieu of a DOT physical if valid beyond 4 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Test and road-check vehicles to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Maintain service trucks and inventory; document work in RO using TRAIT app and iOS device.
• Follow safety policies and comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
