Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II (DOT) to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on a nationwide mobile fleet. Role requires good diagnostic skills, tool availability, and the ability to work in a field/mobile environment.

Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 6am–2pm, with a $2,500 new hire bonus and opportunities for incentives. Training in DOT regulations and ASE certifications is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience (or 5 years’ related experience).
• Own set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA pre-employment requirements including background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and hydraulic systems in mobile/field setting.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and company vehicle maintenance.
• Document RO details and upload photos using company app.
