Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to service our fleet and respond to client-site calls. You will conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs with proper manuals and diagnostics while delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL with Medical Card, and 9 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to Service Manager and perform daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Diagnose using diagnostic equipment and perform repairs as per manuals.
• Document work accurately in company systems.
• Communicate with customers about repairs and next steps.
