Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain client fleets and handle on-site service calls. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs using manuals and diagnostic tools, while delivering excellent customer service.

Requires a valid CDL and Medical card, 9 years of Class 7 & 8 technician experience, and a proven mechanical aptitude. Eligible compensation ranges from $30 to $50 per hour with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL license and Medical card current.
• 9 years experience as Class 7/8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance and diagnostics on trucks.
• Manage service truck inventory and stocking.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
• Read job orders and determine malfunction to plan work procedures.
• Document work performed in company computer system.
