Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a field/mobile setting. You’ll diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems, while maintaining service trucks and completing DOT forms.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 within 18 months, and be able to pass DOT background checks and medical requirements. Competitive weekly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive experience acceptable with alternate combos.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months or equivalent.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory knowledge and ability to pass DOT screening.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Diagnose, test, and repair truck equipment and systems using diagnostic tools and handheld devices.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Manage inventory and parts on the service truck; document work on RO in TRAIT app.
