CoxFleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to heavy repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, test vehicles, and document findings on RO using TRAIT app.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, ASE T8 within 18 months, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements, including a valid DOT medical card or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in related field, or 5 years’ experience.
• Must supply a set of hand tools needed for duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• DOT medical card acceptable if valid within 4 months of expiration.
• Must be at least 21 years old with valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Perform PM, DOT inspections and repairs on vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking and engine systems, including air conditioning and drivetrain.
• Test, road-test and document vehicle repairs and RO findings.
• Manage parts inventory and repair documentation using TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and complete pre-/post-trip safety inspections.
