Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems and document findings in the TRAIT app.

You must have a HS diploma or GED, tool set, and a valid license. ASE T8 certification is required within 18 months; DOT pre-employment screening applies. Weekly pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience
• Must supply a set of hand tools
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory pre-employment screening and DOT physical
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DQF

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light–heavy vehicles in a mobile/field setting
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and related components
• Document work and upload RO photos using TRAIT app on company device
• Maintain service truck and conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections
