CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and diagnostics in a field/mobile environment. You will handle light to heavy-duty vehicles, manage parts, and document work using TRAIT on an iOS device.

The role requires ASE T8 certification within 18 months, HS diploma, and a valid Class CDL C license. Weekly pay and strong benefit options are offered, with a clear career path.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; 3 years related experience (or 5 years alternative).
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT medical card required.
• Class CDL C license required; able to work in a mobile/field setting.

Responsabilités

• Perform PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and functionality.
• Manage parts inventory and document on RO using TRAIT app.
• Coordinate with management on repair estimates and approvals.
• Maintain service truck and perform safety checks and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
