Cox Automotive, a leader in fleet services, seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on heavy‑duty trucks in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical and engine systems, manage parts, and document work with digital tools.

This role requires adherence to safety policies, 21+ years of age, and DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related discipline experience may substitute.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months preferred.
• Possess and supply hand tools needed to perform duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations apply; successful DOT pre-employment screening required.

Responsabilités

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Manage parts and inventory; document work with RO using company iOS device and TRAIT app.
