Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on trucks in a mobile/field setting. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, tool proficiency, and the ability to operate with safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 3 years in a related field; or 5 years in related field.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Possess and supply hand tools required for duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/engine systems, cooling, brakes, and other mechanical components.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose defects using handheld devices and gauges; road test to verify repairs.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and service truck and document RO details via TRAIT app.
