Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems, maintain the service truck, and document findings via the TRAIT app.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. A strong emphasis on safety and efficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake and engine systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test and diagnose malfunctioning equipment using handheld tools and test instruments.
• Document work performed and parts used in the RO using TRAIT app.
