Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will work on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, leveraging TRAIT on an iOS device to document work performed and parts used.

The role requires HS diploma/GED, DOT regulations adherence, and ASE T8 certification within 18 months. Expect weekly pay, safety gear allowances, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or 5 years in related field).
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and DOT physical requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on mobile/light/medium/heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems in field environments.
• Inspect and test equipment, road-test vehicles, and document findings on RO with TRAIT app.
