Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in a mobile/field setting for light to heavy-duty vehicles. You will diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, test vehicles, and document findings using our TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and the ability to work independently with strong safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with related field experience or equivalent.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Road test vehicles and document findings on RO with iOS TRAIT app.
