Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to heavy repairs on trucks in a mobile environment. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, service your company vehicle, and document work using an iOS device and TRAIT app.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED (ASE T8 due within 18 months) and the ability to work a variable shift with 100% travel. Weekly pay and company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel systems.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Document RO work and parts using TRAIT on an iOS device.
• Maintain safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
