Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience.
• Alternative combinations: any degree/cert beyond HS and 5 years’ related experience.
• Possess a set of hand tools required for duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations apply and DOT medical card may substitute a DOT physical.
• Must be 21+ years old with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Inspect and test equipment; road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and document work on RO using TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and comply with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with clients and obtain approvals for estimates and PO numbers.
