Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to medium repairs in a mobile/field setting.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems, while maintaining documentation and parts inventory. You will operate with a high degree of independence and work during night shifts, with hourly pay and potential incentives.

Qualifikationen

• HS or equivalent with 3 years in related field, or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) achieved within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical.

Aufgaben

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light–heavy vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, repair, and test electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain and document RO details using TRAIT app and iOS device.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with customers for repair approvals.
