Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics in a mobile/field setting across the United States. You will repair light to heavy-duty trucks, manage parts on a service truck, and document findings using a TRAIT app on an iOS device.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, communicating with customers, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance while working with autonomy and a strong team mindset.

Competenze

• DOT Inspections and Preventative Maintenance inspections on mobile/field vehicles.
• Perform light, medium and heavy-duty vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• Use hand tools, diesel tools, and test instruments to troubleshoot and repair.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance per OSHA/EPA/DOT policies.
• 2+ years of related field experience preferred; DOT/FMCSA regulatory requirements apply.

Mansioni

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on mobile fleet equipment.
• Carry out repairs and diagnostics for electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Test and diagnose using handheld devices, gauges, and TRAIT app.
• Document work performed and parts used on RO via iOS device.
• Coordinate with customers and manage time to meet repair times.
