CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-heavy mechanical repairs on a mobile fleet. You will diagnose multiple truck systems and document findings using TRAIT on an iOS device.

Role requires safety compliance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage parts inventory and schedules with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years’ related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and possess valid DOT medical card or be able to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Document work in RO using company-issued iOS device and TRAIT app; complete DOT forms promptly.
• Operate and maintain company service vehicle and conduct pre-/post-trip inspections.
